Glass-fiber reinforced ULTEM 1010
Glass-fiber reinforced ULTEM 1010 PEI (Polyetherimide) is a high-performance thermoplastic composite known for its outstanding strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. The addition of glass fibers to ULTEM 1010 enhances its mechanical properties, including increased stiffness, dimensional stability, and improved strength-to-weight ratio. This material retains its properties over a wide temperature range and exhibits excellent flame retardancy and low smoke emission, making it suitable for aerospace, automotive, and electrical/electronic applications. Its superior strength and rigidity, combined with inherent PEI characteristics, make it ideal for advanced engineering applications where durability and performance in harsh environments are essential.
